The use of natural light is often the hero in any design work but hot afternoon sun must be wrangled. For the feature outdoor kitchen, corner decking seating was positioned with time of use in mind. The firepit sits in the hottest part of the garden ready for nighttime use surrounded by a large open lawn area for family play. The careful placement of feature trees was incorporated into the design to create shade pockets in the afternoon sun.
