The goal of this front yard design was to improve both the overall street aesthetic and the client’s outlook from their front of house office window, as well as adding another access point from the driveway to the front door. This was achieved by softening the entryway with as much garden as possible through layers of planting using a custom corten steel ring from Shapescaper.
In the small backyard, the family wanted to maximise on their love for outdoor entertaining and family meals, so the BBQ area became the focus of the design. Here we maximised space with built in bench seats and even managed to fit in a small lawn area for the family pet. An open clean look was achieved by using natural timber screening and concrete benches against red bricks.
